Welcome to the all new Coldwater Community picnic web site! The Community Picnic will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd at the Memorial Park. The pre-picnic festivities will begin Thursday, July 30th with sidewalk sales downtown and at the mall. We will continue the tradition with Movie Night for the family Thursday evening at the park. On Friday, July 31st the community will gather at the mall for Good Vibrations DJ and fireworks at 10pm.

The 49th annual Community Picnic will feature more entertainment and activities than ever before. New activities slated for this year are more kids rides from Wymer Amusements, an arcade zone, petting zoo, watermelon eating contest for kids, and kids straw scramble to name a few. Please view the schedule for a listing of all weekend events. Our musical entertainment will begin each day at 5pm. The favorite hit band Borrowed Time will kick off Saturday's entertainment with the Red Ball Jets band as the nightcap. On Sunday, the Jordon Ross band will start off the afternoon, making his trip home from the beaches of Hilton Head. The local hit band Country Mile will finish off the evening with a bang.

Also, a special thank you is extended to our picnic committee members and trustees, past committee members and trustees, booth chair persons, and the volunteers who work all the booths. All the volunteerism brings rewards with 100% of the profits being used for the Memorial Park and the Coldwater Library.
